Keith J. Mallory, President
When choosing an escrow company, experience matters. Keith’s real estate career began in 1980, and he brings decades of knowledge in seller financing and escrow servicing to American Escrow Company. An Albuquerque native, he understands the local market and the questions buyers, sellers, and investors face.
Keith helps make complex transactions easier to understand, giving clients practical guidance so they can make informed decisions. He has also shared his expertise through classes for real estate professionals and closing companies. Sandra L. Mallory, Vice President
Dependable service starts with an organized, attentive team. Sandra brings extensive experience in administration, technology, and management to American Escrow Company, helping support the processes behind each client’s experience.
Before joining the family business, Sandra built a career with the Department of Veterans Affairs Cooperative Studies Program, advancing from Computer Assistant to Public Affairs Specialist. With a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology focused on Database Administration, she combines technical knowledge with practical management experience. Her attention to detail and focus on efficient operations help the team deliver consistent, reliable service.
Renee D. Maestas, Senior Escrow Account Manager
An owner-financed transaction deserves attentive service long after closing. Renee has been part of American Escrow Company since its early years, bringing decades of experience in managing escrow accounts and the details of owner-financed real estate.

Sean M. Mallory, Senior Escrow Officer/Closing Specialist
Sean is the son of Keith and Sandra and has been with American Escrow since 2010. He became a licensed real estate broker in 2013. Sean is quite skilled at building lasting relationships with investors and clients. He works hard at learning each customer’s specific owner financing needs to ensure they become a lifelong client. Sean attended the University of New Mexico where he received his bachelor’s degree in history and was a student body government senator.
Ashley M. Pendell, Senior Escrow Officer/Closing Specialist
Ashley understands that a real estate transaction is a significant financial decision—and that clients deserve clear answers and careful attention throughout the process. She combines extensive experience in owner financing, escrow servicing, and closings with a detail-oriented approach that helps keep transactions moving forward.
Ashley joined American Escrow Company in 2006 while attending the University of New Mexico. With a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a New Mexico real estate broker’s license, she brings both financial understanding and practical real estate knowledge to her work. Whether clients are new to owner financing or experienced investors, Ashley helps them understand the details and feel supported from closing through ongoing servicing.
HISTORY
Founded by father-and-son team Harry and Keith Mallory, American Escrow Company was incorporated in New Mexico in August 1982 to serve the community’s escrow needs. More than four decades later, we remain a family-run business, proudly helping New Mexicans with owner-financed transactions and escrow services.
